Posted on Mon, 21 Sep 2015
Question: I have some small white spots on my upper lip and sides of my lips. Doesn't seem to be spreading to the bottom. They don't hurt, sting, itch, or burn. I'm very concerned about them. I've seen two urgent care people and they both Insist that they aren't anything I should be concerned about. I'm having a hard time resting easy not knowing what they are.

I want to see the lesion. It may be due to viral infection or may it also be an STD. Please give me your sexual history associated to these symptoms to better assist you in a broad expert medical perspective.

Please try better resolution and proper light.

Brief Answer:
No STD.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for attaching the pictures. I appreciate the efforts.

Well this isn't an STD. It may be a viral infection and as you already told that they don't sting burn itch etc. So I want to assure you please don't worry and keep calm. They will go away with some remedies.

You need to do gargles with Listerine mouthwash twice daily.
Keep yourself hydrated and apply petroleum jelly or lip balm.
Don't let the lips get dry.
This is just a game of time. After some days you will feel them no more there. When you go out try not to expose the face to direct sunlight. You need no extra medications for them.
