Suggest Treatment For Soft Tissue Injury On Head

Question: My son was in a car accident almost a week ago. He hit his head pretty hard on the driver's side window. He was obviously driving. The bump is squishy and almost feels like there's a hole in his head. He has had no symptoms of any kind - no headache, no confusion, no vomiting. The bump is just sensitive to the touch. It has not gotten any smaller or worse since the accident. Is this something to worry about or will it clear up on its own?

Brief Answer:
Get him clinically examined and investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, it seems that he might be having soft tissue injury. A painkiller like Ibuprofen will help in controlling pain. But I would advise that you should get him clinically examined and investigated to rule out any internal injury. A CT scan of head will be helpful in planning further medical management.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
