Brief Answer:
Can be due combined fungal and bacterial infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to combined fungal and bacterial infection. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. More potent anti fungal agents will be needed in such case.

In such case I would recommend ointments with combination of anti fungal like miconazole, antibacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid like flucinolone for local application. I also advise oral fluconazole weekly once to stop recurrence.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
