Suggest Treatment For Sore Mouth And Swollen Lymph Nodes

Etoricoxib is a safe alternative for pain...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query. I do understand your concern; I will try my best to help you out with this problem.
Initial stages of all upper respiratory tract infections are predominantly viral in origin. During the process, there will severe myalgia, fever, headache, joint pains, etc. Viral infections are usually self-limiting and treatment of the symptoms will suffice.
But, there are also inflamed glands in the neck as well as in the arm pits, which could be of bacterial in origin. Thus, the present situation could be a mixed infection, which will require antibiotics as well.
My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water
2. Try taking Etoricoxib for the pain; it is a safe alternative to NSAID intolerant patients. You can discuss about this your treating doctor.
3. Use povidone iodine throat spray/gargles 3-4 times a day after food.
4. Avoid chilled food & beverages/coffee/alcohol/smoking (if any).
5. If the symptoms do not subside, re-consult your doctor for complete blood investigations.
Hope this answer has been helpful to you. Revert back to me for follow-up queries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing back
Purple colour over the tongue is concentration of iron rich haemoglobin in the mucosa. This is commonly noticed during the inflammation of the mucosa lining the oral cavity.
Please follow the suggestions as per the previous response, you will feel better. I wish you good luck and good health.
