Suggest Treatment For Sore Penile Shaft In An Obese Person
Question: I'm not sure but after searching the net I think I have Balantis! On the shaft of my penis it is sore like I have rubbed the skin raw. I have kept it clean. And when I think it is healed it's not . This has gone on for two weeks. It is only on one spot just under the tip of my penis. I am overweight and the penis rolls into the skin like a garage. Today when I woke and went pee some of the skin rubbed off into my fingers like when I had jock itch in high school. I am 51 years old have type II Diabetes. Tried to have sexy couple nights ago and could not! Hurt too much! I have kept it Clean but the symptoms will not go away how do j cure this?

I have gone through your query. From your description it sounds like Balanitis. This is usually due to combined fungal and bacterial infection. In such case I usually suggest ointments containing combination of antifungal like miconazole, anti bacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid like beclamethasone for local application . Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water.
