Question: I have a blotchy rash on my face, neck & midriff. Feeling more achy than usual. Had once before and doctor dis blood test and told me my white count was high. I had sore throat then I don't have now. It does not itch nor have I eaten or drank anything new or unusual

Hi,

Welcome to HCM..

I read history. You have erythematous rash on face neck and trunk. It is not itchy. You feel bodyache and you may be fatigued. You had pharyngitis also. I feel that most probably you may be having viral disease. I think that probably erythema infectiousum might have occurred. It is also called fifth disease. If it is there, do not worry. The condition is benign and regress in few weeks. It is a self limiting condition.

There is no particular treatment of the fifth disease. It may be treated symptomatically. Antipyretic and analgesic may be taken. Antibiotic like azithromycine may be considered. Take rest and avoid anxiety.

However, you consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.
