Question : Hi my daughter has laryngomalacia. She is nearly 10 months old and has had a sore throat for two days now which tonight has turned into a cough as well. Could the sore throat and cough make her breathing more harder?

Under any circumstances, there is a ossibility of increased difficulty of breathing with sore throat and cough. The presence of laryngomalacia does not increase or decrease that risk. she should be treated like any other child with sore throat and cough. I recommend consulting with your doctor if the symptoms persist or worsen.
