Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Cough While Treating Strep Throat

I am married and worried. I had sex with a woman 2.5 years ago and am not sure of her status. I started to have neuropathy back in April and was on an off till recently. I had my CBC done LYMES..etc, EMG's, MRI's etc. They never could figure out was wrong. In July I got Strept throat and again in August. My daughter has it around the same times. I just got over another sore throat and cough. My tongue is white towards the back but all my physicians and dentist said it wasn't thrush, even thought they never directly tested for it. I am afraid and scared as the only test I didn't take was for HIV.
Get tested for HIV antibodies to allay your anxiety.

Thank you for query. Welcome to health care magic.
I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query. I have gone through the details and can make out your anxiety.
Recurrent streptococcal infection can occur due to tonsillitis, allergies, resistant strains,Weakened immune system, Overcrowded conditions.
If your doctors have ruled out oral fungal infection,it is unlikely to be due to HIV.
If your doctors are not worried of HIV ,implies it is unlikely to be due to HIV.
The chances of HIV transmission by unprotected intercourse with HIV infected partner is 1/200 to 1/1000.She may be negative too.
As you have risk exposure, you can go for HIV Antibodies test(Elisa) to be relieved of anxiety.
