Hello,

your symptoms sound like a common viral infection. Your primary care physician can diagnose such cases. If there is no fever and there are signs of viral disease, antibiotics are not usually prescribed.

Kind Regards!

Thank you. In fact the doctor visited me and told me that is viral but I cant even at at certain moment because of the pain. Sometimes it seem to me like my ears also hurts. I have taken paracetamol and some populor remedies to relief the pain. For how many days is normal this kind of sorethrought? Thank you

Brief Answer:
2-3 days usually

Detailed Answer:
You're welcome!

In most cases the pain starts to wear off after 2-3 days but sometimes it may last for longer. It can't be predicted on an individual basis but lack of fever usually suggests milder infection. Paracetamol is the best first choice and can be combined with more potent analgesics for added effect. Such analgesics include mild opioids and NSAID (unless contraindicated).

Kind Regards!
