Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever

Question : I am 35 yr old man, having moderately high sore throat and fever for last 3 days. I am trying all home remedies like salt water gargle, drinking lukewarm water, green tea, had also taken tablet Nock-2 (Nimesulide + Paracetamol) after nothing worked and had fever all day yesterday at 100 degrees F. Though I do not have fever now but I stiĺl have lot of pain in throat, please suggest a medication.

Your symptoms look like you are suffering from throat infection. I treat such patients in my practice with Amox clav for 5 days.

Before taking this medicine i suggest you to get your throat examined and then get the antibiotic prescribed.

Mean while you can continue all other home remedies.
