Thorat infection; follow as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
From your short history, it can be assumed that you are suffering from a throat infection. The headache and the swollen lymph nodes are associated and the dizziness can be a result of the fatigue and exhaustion you are going through.
When such patients come to me, I generally advise the following-
Avoiding any chilled or cold beverages, avoiding exposure to cold atmosphere.
Warm saline gargling, and steam inhalation if possible.
Antibiotics like coamoxyclav or azithromycin for 5-7 days.
Xylometazoline nasal drops or sprays if there is nasal congestion.
Paracetamol or tylenol as and when needed for headache and fatigue.
Lots of fluid per orally.
betahistine tablets only if there is gross dizziness or head reeling.
Also, multivitamin and multimineral syrup or tablets for few days.
You can consult with your treating or family doctor and follow the above.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
