Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Question: I'm a pharmacist who's on disability...bad body...what does a "Vibratab" look like because it's suppose to be doxcycline (? spelling) HCL 100 mg b/c I paid $45 for it. I also picked up Keflex 500 mg. (naturally, it was not the color nor the price it was suppose to be).......ugh? I think still have a fever as well as I feel like....my throat hurts really, really bad & it has red lumps in it
Brief Answer:
Prefer Azithromycin.Salt water gargling
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to address your query.
I were to advvise salt water gargling 3-4 times a day.I would prefer Zithromax(Azithromycin 500mg once daily for 3 days) instead of Vibratab which is not very specific(covers atypical bacteria) for treating upper respiratory tract infection. However you may continue Keflex 500mg(twice daily for 5 days) which is more potent in handling gram positive bacteria. You may agree that Tab.Paracetamol 500mg(5 days) 6th hourly checks fever.Have plenty of fluids.Drink warm water for sore throat.
Hope these medications should take care of your current ailments quickly.Get well soon.
