Suggest Treatment For Sore Upper Lip

Question: My husband used preparation H on his hemroids and he sat on a stool in the kitchen and I noticed a stain on the stool. I bent over to smell the stain and my top lip touched the stain, I went in the bathroom and brushed my top lip with my electric toothbrush and now my lip is sore. Could there be any harm to me if I got some preparation H on my lip and what can I do for my brushed top lip?
