Brief Answer:
Please go in to be seen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

With your history of a previous renal infarction and now having pain and feeling sick, I think you should go in to be seen in the ER now. While your symptoms may be due to other causes such as a kidney stone or a kidney infection, the only way to know is to be evaluated. Renal infarctions are often missed because the symptoms can be mistaken for other things. But given that you had one before, I advise that you not wait - go in to the ER. And of course tell the ER doctor about your history of previous renal infarction.

I wish you well, and if possible, please write me and let me know how you are doing after you go to the ER.
