Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Navel
Question: I am sore in the area below my belly button and the top of my penis, what could this be?Is it possible that I overworked a muscle/tendon/ligament in trying too hard to reach climax?

Soreness bellow belly button and at the base of the penis relieved on masturbation is most likely to be due to congestion of Prostate (Prostatitis).
Do you have any other urinary symptoms like frequency for urination ,painful urination ,nocturia etc suggestive of Enlarged Prostate which is common at this age ?
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
In the mean while take antibiotics like Doxicycline and anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily .
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
