Brief Answer:
Chondromalacia
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the query
It appears that you could be suffering from Chondromalacia of the knee cap bone. This is cartilage damage causing rubbing and pain.
I would advise your to get lateral and skyline view xrays of the affected knee.
Avoid squatting, cross leg sitting, climbing stairs and kneeling. Apply hot packs to the affected region. Perform quadriceps strengthening exercises.
Do upload the Xray for my review.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Brief Answer:
You can walk. 6 months Quadriceps exercises
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the reply.
Quadriceps strengthening is important to reduce the stress on the knee by balancing muscle forces. This gives relief. About 6 months will be ideal
You can walk for 45 minutes a day but avoid activities that cause excessive flexion of the knee.

Brief Answer:
No signs of arthritis in this craft
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for uploading the Xray. Though you have not uploaded the Skyline view Xray which I mentioned in my first message.
Anyway this does not show any sure shot signs of arthritis. Continue with exercises and care of the knee. Avoid excessive knee bending.
