Treating the stomach ache depend of the cause .
You need to do some examinations after having the pain for a long time :fibrogastroscopy to confirm the diagnosis.
Here are some possible condition that may be the cause of your stomach pain :
-Gastritis or Ulcer disease , the treatment consist of taking PPI drug ( esomeprazol, pantoprazol, lansoprazol ) or anti histamine H2 (Ranitidine ) for at least 2 weeks .If its Ulcer you should Do a Test for H.Pylori and if it's positive antibiotics ( amoxiciline , claritromicine should be added .)
The symptoms are ; bloating , nause, vomiting , burning , pain , sometimes blood in stools ,loss of appetite .Using Gaviscon make you feel better at the moment but the pain will come back.You did not write any medication you take, sometimea some medication may cause stomach pain ( Ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen ) after using for a long time .
Follow a healthy lifestyle : Avoid caffeine , alcohol, spicey and fried food, consume less faty food , eat small meals several times , do excercises (walk at least 30min /day.
Other cause could be kolecististitis , duodenal ulcer , gastroparesis...
I suggest to go to a local doctor (gastroenterologist ) to do a fibrogastroscopy and other examinations to confirm the diagnosis and a proper treatment.
