Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps, Diarrhea And Acute Infectious Enteritis
Question: I thought I had the stomach bug going around. Stomach cramps, diarrhea, but it has been going on for 9 days now and the stomach cramps are so severe after eating that I now suspect possibly gallbladder involvement. No rebound tenderness in RLQ, so I think I am OK with appendicitis. But about half an hour after eating anything at all, I get the most horrendous cramps, enough to break a sweat and almost make me dizzy. Also worse lying down on back back - better lying on my right side. They are not getting better like one would expect a bug to. I am not running a fever. No jaundice. Better in the morning in general; much much worse as the day progresses. Am in a bind as it is a national holiday here and no doctor is available without going to the ER and I don't think this is life threatening. What to do?
