?/Stomach upset or infection; suggestions provided ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
If your symptoms have started more recently (as in a day or a few days ago), then with all the other information you have provided me with, it does sound like a stomach upset/infection.
I have the following suggestions:
+Antibiotic coverage: The use of two broad spectrum antibiotics like metronidazole 500 mg (one tablet twice a day for 14 days) and ciprofloxacin 500 mg (one tablet twice a day for 14 days)
But this would be best taken under the care of a doctor around you as you may have allergies to these medications, in which case we will have to provide an alternative for the same
+The use of an antacid (e.g. ranitidine, omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.)
+The use of probiotics either natural (buttermilk, curd, yogurt, etc.) or the ones available in the market or pharmacy
+Drink plenty of food
+Avoid spicy/fatty/oily/fried food
+Avoid smoking
+Avoid alcohol
+Have 5-6 smaller meals instead of 2-3 larger ones
+Do not overeat
+Try to stay as well hydrated as possible; also initiate an ORS (oral rehydration solution) available in either powder or drink form (at least 1 litre to be consumed each day)
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
