Suggest Treatment For Stomachache And Symptoms Of Gastritis When Diagnosed With Chronic Costochondritis
Question: I have chronic costochondritus. I woke up a year ago with stomach pains and i guess gastritus, blood tested had H. pylori, and had chest pains. A few months went by and stomach was better but had awful chest pains et. Diagnosed w chostochondritus. I have just about every test to rule out all major things (xray, ct scan, ultrasound, food allergies, rheumatologist, chiro, PT, massage, etc etc, changed diet). I am a year in and no better. Just wondering if there are any doctors out there that have any thoughts for me as i have given up XXXX
Brief Answer:
Medication, ice, warmth, steroid injection
Detailed Answer:
No there.
Thanks for the query.
Costochondritis usually is treated conservatively with a course of NSAIDs like Ibuprofen, application of ice or warm packs whichever gives relief.
Even steroid injection can offer relief in recalcitrant cases.
