Suggest Treatment For Stone In The Urinary Tract
Question: My son had to go to the hospital for kidney stone. In report they write: Mild right hydroureternonephrosis secondary to right UVJ calculus, 0.4cm. Also small nonspecific lesions in the righ iliac bone. What is iliac bone? Should he drink more water to help not get kidney stones?

The stone is present at the junction of right ureter with the bladder i.e. the spot where the ureter opens into the bladder.
This stone is causing obstruction which is causing dilatation of the right ureter and right kidney.
These obstructive changes are called hydronephrosis.
Prolonged obstruction can lead to progression of hydronephrosis.
Long standing hydronephrosis can lead to deterioration of renal functions.
Iliac bone is the pelvic bone.
The lesions mentioned in the iliac bone are not specified so no comment can be made about these lesions.
