Suggest Treatment For Stones Near The Urinary Bladder And Pain

Question: Hi. My husband aged 31 yrs. was diagnosed with a stone of 3 mm near urinary bladder and was advised to have lots of water. Tthis happenned a month back when he had severe pain. After that he did not have any pain. Hopefully the stone has passed. But we still want to clear our doubt. Should he go for any test? If yes, please recommend which test should be taken to be clear of this?
Brief Answer:
You should get an ultrasound kub
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
3 mm Kidney stone must have been passed out easily. whenever the stone moves it causes pain. sometimes pain goes away but stone remains. But this is more likely in larger stones. in any case you should do an ultrasound for kidney , ureter and bladder commonly known as KUB to rule out hydronephrosis or any stone. best wishes.
