Suggest Treatment For Stress Incontinence
Stress incontinence likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It seems that you have a urinary incontinence since you had a hysterectomy. It is more likely to be a stress incontinence. This may result from a weakening of the pelvic floor or loss of normal function of the sphincter. A second possibility is that the bladder is now overactive as a result of the surgery or changes in the pelvic floor musculature associated with hysterectomy.
The best treatment for this problem is to strengthen the pelvic floor with kegel's exercises. Other treatments include collagen injections into the urethra or sling operation.
You can consult your gynecologist and plan the treatment according to severity of symptoms.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
