Brief Answer:
Vasomotor Rhinitis.

Detailed Answer:
HI.
Thanks for a typical query.
Very simple reason but the most difficult to diagnose and treat too.

This is called vaso-motor rhinitis.

The dis-ease is mediated by the nerves supplying the nose...

There are two treatments , which you to get and continue in consultation with an ENT Surgery.
Firstly is the medical treatment in the form of amytryptilin group of medicines for which you will need a prescription.
Secondly, if there is failure of medical management-The option is a small surgery called a vidian neurectomy- least trauma and can be done as a day-care procedure/ other forms are excision of the extra mass ( turbinectomy ).
Please discuss this all very frankly with your ENT Doctor.. You have really to understand from him... There can be a recurrence and surgical complication.

Note: Consult an experienced Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist online for further follow up on ear, nose, and throat issues - Book a Call now.
