Detailed Answer:
Hello
I share your concern
Looking at your history, it is suggestive of an acute infection of eve lid which may spread to eye ball as well

In my opinion you should immediately consult your family doctor for a course of antibiotics ( oral drug as well as eye drops) after thorough examination

If you can upload us a photograph and complete medical history like whether you are having any medication, any history of injury to eyelid,I will be able to guide you better

you should wash your eyes with low concentration antiseptic solutions and try to keep it moist
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and dust
Don't rub the eye.
Maintain good hygiene use clean tissue paper to wipe it.

Hope this helps you
follow up questions are most welcome
Thanks and regards
