Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.
I have just seen the photograph of your sons injury. As expected it seems to be a superficial burn. I congratulate you for doing the first aid and you did right in applying the burns cream. Usually these sort of burns will develop a fluid filled sac which is suggestive of a healing process. I advice you not to puncture it or scrap it. But I feel he might require oral antibiotics too as it might get secondarily infected.
I suggest you see a pediatrician first fr antibiotic therapy and if you are too worried about scarring you can take his advice on seeing a plastic surgeon on followup as it is too premature to comment on it.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
