Brief Answer:
Superimposed infection, topical and systemic antibiotics required

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The dried patch with associated friction has lead to sloughing off of the skin with probable superimposed infection. Keep the area dry and clean. Apply povidone antiseptic and was with saline water. Topical fucidin or triple antibiotic like topical Neosporin would be required. In addition to this oral cefadroxil 500 mg twice a day for a week would also be necessary for proper healing.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
