Dr,
There is no blood in my urine. All seemed to be going very well and inproving over the past days. Suddenly this morning I was a little tender on the sides of my pubic area and a bit swollen in area directly north of my penis (pubic area- sorry can't figure out how to upload pic). It feels like it is on both sides but mostly the right, originating at the top of a scrotum/base of penis and continuing north to lower abdomen area. The entire are though is tender. Bruising does not appear present, more like a general swelling of area and soreness. When I walk it is more of a feeling like a pulled muscle. Note, there was little to no pain monday and Tuesday.
After additional examination I would say the pain is concentrated in two swollen areas about a half dollar size in area where the base of the the penis meets the pubic area on both sides. They areas appear full of fluid as they are a bit squishy and swollen.

Brief Answer:
It should settle in week
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back,
Your responses were very helpful and you described the issue well.
I wan't to assure you that this doesn't look like a very serious issue,
Some swelling or edema at the area of insult during vasectomy is normal.
This happens in so many patients who undergo this procedure, this usually settles in a week or so.
I would suggest you not to panic. Just keep an eye on the size of the swelling, dont touch or press it much,
If it keeps getting better with time then well and good if size keeps increasing, a bruise appears or you get blood in urine, do get to a doctor.
Till then don't worry and give it a week to settle down.
I Hope this answers your question, if your have more queries feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it. Wish you the best of health.
