Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Redness Around The Opening Of Penis

warm salt water soaks, topical creams, anti inflammatory pain killers, antibio
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Urinary tract infections can cause pain and difficulty on urination, in many cases, there is no swelling/redness at the meatus however.
The meatus is the external opening of the urethra.
The inflammation here would directly cause the pain/swelling. You can continue the antibiotics but may want to add topical mild steroids such as hydrocortisone cream.
It is mild so it is available over the counter, it would reduce the redness and swelling. This should be combined with a topical antibiotic which may also help to directly soothe the area.
If you have a tub/bath that you can sit and soak in warm (not hot) water with salt or epsom salts, this may also help to relieve some of your discomfort.
This can be done 2 to 3 times a day if possible for 10 to 20 minutes.
Anti inflammatory pain killers would also help as well.
Discontinue any new topical creams or products.
Summary: (1) continue antibiotics
(2)soak warm salt/epsom salt water
(3)apply a mild topical steroid cream for a few days along with a topical antibiotic for direct relief
(4)use an anti inflammatory pain killer- ibuprofen/naproxen/aspirin
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
