Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query
I think I can help you.
I will need to know exactly where the swelling is in the left arm.
And how much can you move the arm?
Is there pain or limited mobility elsewhere?
Can you move the fingers?
Any sensory loss?
If possible, upload a picture of the injured site.
Please let me know the answers to these questions so I may be able to help you.
Best of luck

I can move fingers swollen above my elbow but below my shoulder I can move it but it hurts just in that spot I put ice on it earlier
Brief Answer:
Needs x ray
Detailed Answer:
I am assuming your movements at elbow and shoulder are OK.
Sounds like a possible fracture has to be ruled out. the other possibility is a hematoma or other soft tissue injury.
I would recommend taking a pain killer with antacid. A combination of ranitidine with tramadol may help you there.
Thereafter , investigation with x ray and ultrasound of the area is needed.
Further treatment would depend on the reports.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal
