Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Knee

needs further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear XXXX
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
How was your day?
Hope this message finds you in good health.
I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.
it seems that you have landed on your knee cap when you fell. knee cap is directly situated under the skin without any soft tissue cushion. so, direct impact on knee caps usually result in blood clots due to internal ligaments injury or a fracture of the knee cap bone-patella.
the facts that its very swollen, painful and you cannot put any weight on your knees ,feels more like a bony injury.. it may be a minor fracture, blunt trauma or a ligament injury.
at present, apply ice packs, compression bandage, take analgesics, rest, leg elevation and avoid weight bearing as much as possible.
atleast an xray should be done immediately to see for any bony injuries.
You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.
I hope your question has been answered.
Feel free to consult me anytime for follow-up queries.
Take care,God bless.
Wish you a healthy life : )
