Suggest Treatment For Swelling Of Eyelid With Pimple On Swollen Part
It looks like inflammation of glands of lids.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having a swelling of the eyelid with a small pimple on the swollen part.
This indicates a inflammatory swelling involving the glands of the eyelids.
This requires treatment by a the use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
Amoxycillin is an antibiotic and it can be used. Neosporine H contains steroid in the form of hydrocortisine and it should be avoided.
I prefer to use plain antibiotic eye drops or eye ointments like Moxifloxacin or Ciprofloxacin.
Along with this use of oral antiinflammatory drugs like Diclofenac will provide rapid symptomatic relief.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination to find out the underlying cause and prescription of drugs.
If possible do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can confirm the diagnosis and advice you more accurately.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
