The bumps have relatively came down, but the swelling is of concern. Please advice on how to proceed.
You are having stye/ hordeolum.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history and the photos attached with the question.
It seems from the history that you are having stye called as hordeolum of the eyelid. It is because of inflammation of the glands of the eyelids present near the eyelashes and it is caused by bacterial infection.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops and eye ointment for application for the eye.
Applying warm compression and use of analgesic tablets will provide symptomatic relief.
I usually treat these conditions in my hospital by the use of broad spectrum antibiotic eye drops or eye ointments like moxifloxacin or ciprofloxacin.
The condition usually resolves by 7-10 days.
In your case the third photo is showing eye discharge indicating presence of conjunctivitis secondary to stye.
This also requires same treatment by the use of antibiotic eye drops and antiinflammatory drugs. But you need to instill the antibiotic eye drops more frequently.
The swelling will decrease slowly once the stye and conjunctivitis resolve, no need to worry. Warm compression and analgesic tablets will help.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you

You are having two hordeolums.

Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
You are having two hordeolums. No need to worry, both will resolve with treatment.
You can work with computer with this condition. But you should avoid stress, working over night...
If these hordeolums occur repeatedly you need evaluation to rule out eye conditions like uncorrected refractive error, blepharitis and general conditions like diabetes.
If this is occring for the first time then no need to worry and usually further evaluationis not advised.
Hope the iinformation is helpful to you.

For my infected eye vision is blurred. Is this temporary and will become ok or is this something to be concerned about?
thanks

Blurred vision is temporary, no need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
Thank you for the follow up question.
This swelling will resolve with medical treatment by antibiotic eye drops.
Surgery is rarely required. Applying hot compression and use of antibiotic eye drops will cure this in most cases and only non resolving cases require surgical removal as told by your doctor.
The blurring of vision is probably because of pressure over the cornea by the swollen eyelid and will resolve with treatment of hordeolum.
Hence blurring of vision is temporary and no need to worry about it.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
