You have a swollen and painful ankle when you walk afer pushing weights with it a week ago.
Although it passed a week, you still have a swollen and painful ankle.
To my opinion, you did not take proper care of your ankle when you got it hitted. At the beginning, you should've put ice and cold clothings to reduce edema.
However, I'd suggest to apply blended onion with salt. So,
- blend 1 medium onion,
- put some salt (coarse is better)
- mix them well
- pour the mixture (blended onion with coarse salt) in a clothing
- apply the mixture directly to the swollen ankle
- keep it well bandaged for over night
- do not move your ankle for some days
- take oral painkillers
It is supposed to get relief in 2 days. If after 2 days no improvement, I'd suggest to consult an orthopedist and do x-ray of the ankle.
