Posted on Tue, 8 Sep 2015
Question: One of my friend had met with an accident 5 yrs ago. In that accident she got serious fractured in her ankle. Now her fractured has been completely healed. But Her skin of foot also got damaged in that accident. So grafting of the skin had been done at that time. After this she used to get swelling on the grafting area. This swelling occurs only when she sits or stands for a longer period of time.
But this swelling goes away when she sits or lies on bed with straight legs.
She also has a huge grafting scar on her foot. She consulted with a allopathy doctor for this swelling. But she did not get any satisfied answer. One doctor says, Swelling will reduce with time. One doctor says, this swelling
will remain as it is because grafting skin is devoid of Sweat and Oil glands and other required things. Due to which blood is accumulating in the
grafted area and it will remain as is throuhout life.
Doctor please provide your suggestion on the below and let me know is there any treatment for the same in Homeopathy
1. Please suggest the treatment for the swelling that she is getting on the grafted area
2. Is there any treatment of grafting scar removal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I appreciate your interest in homeopathy
Homeopathy is one of the most effective way of treatment to cure such complain
Homoeopathy is safe to use and has no side effect.

i have gone through your query regarding surgical complication.
After analysis of your case i have selected some medicine.
Medicine may help you to repair and cure all injury due to surgical procedure. understand during grafting and other surgical procedure many nerves artery and vein were also injured. so role of medicine is to treat those injured site.
Medicine will also help to reduce the scar mark. But it can not be completely recovered.

I am suggesting some medicine and you can start as prescribed
1 Arnica 1M 4 pills once in day
2 Ruta 1M 4 pills once in day
3 Calcarea phos 200x 4 pills three times in day
4 Silicea 1CM 4 drops once in a month

Take medicine for 2 month and then write to us.
Understand the course of medication may go longer so you have to keep patience and continue the medicine.

Hope this is clear to you
In case of any query feel free to ask
