Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

You describe a couple of symptoms. First, swelling and redness in your legs. Second, symptoms consistent with major depression.

For the leg swelling and redness, this is a very concerning symptom which could indicate blood clots. You need to visit either a primary care doctor today or call 911 and visit the ER immediately. This could result in death so needs immediate attention.

For the symptoms of depression, I believe you are currently experiencing a major depressive episode. This needs immediate treatment with an SSRI antidepressant such as escitalopram (bupropion is not enough). You should talk about this with your primary care doctor. If you are having thoughts that you would be better off dead, or thoughts about ending your life, you need to call 911, as treatment will help you feel better.

In short, you need to call 911 for urgent evaluation of your legs, and to be assessed for depression.

Detailed Answer:
You can take the Metro if you are able, but calling 911 for an ambulance would not be a bad idea.

Please let me know how everything goes, I'd be interested in hearing how things turn out.
