Brief Answer:
It could be due to edema.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Swelling of the finger could be due to edema caused by Tight bandage.Tight bandage is necessary when there is possibility of bleeding.

Just apply bandage without pressure.

If I're your treating doctor, i'd advice an Antibiotic to prevent infection and anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints.

You should consult your doctor and get appropriate prescription. You should also discuss about Anti Rabies Vaccination with your doctor at the earliest.

Nothing to worry. Swelling will come down and the wound will heal soon, but do get the bite area checked out without any further delay.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
