Suggest Treatment For Swollen Bump On Foot

Question: i have a swollen bump on the outside of my foot its starting to hurt when i walk... i have had it since saturday...
Brief Answer:
Infected sebaceous cyst likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached image. It is likely to be due to an infected sebaceous cyst or a callous. It can have pus inside and needs an antibiotic and anti inflammatory drug for treatment.
You can do a hot fomentation meanwhile for symptomatic relief and take a mild pain killer. Do consult your physician for proper prescription antibiotics.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

i dont have money to go to the dr is there anything else i can do... will this go away on its own...
Brief Answer:
Can subside on its own.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Can subside on its own in next few days. Do a hot fomentation at least thrice a day, take a mild pain killer like ibuprofen and apply local antiseptic ointment like neosporin.
In case the pain and swelling increases then do consult your physician for proper oral antibiotics.
Hope my answer is helpful.
