Brief Answer:
Bump under skin

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

There are 2 possibilities to your condition: a bump either is an inflammatory swelling due to various causes or might be a boil with pus within it. In either case, if you manipulate the swelling it will increase in size owing to further inflammation and drain. If it drains pus then it is infective, if it drains a clear, serous fluid then it is inflammatory. In either event, it is safe to apply a local antibiotic ointment over the swelling two times a day. It is also safe to take a course of antibiotics if the swelling becomes red and enlarged.
If it causes too much pain then you can take a pain medication till the swelling comes down in size.

Please feel free to ask me further questions in case you have any.
