Brief Answer:
Please, consult your
primary care doctior
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this swollen knots that you have reported.
From the information you have provided, it reveals that you have had a non hodgkin's
lymphoma in the past. These reported knots immediately throws my mind back to this. Big and visible knots on the neck are often suggestive of a cancerous process until proven otherwise and your history of cancer makes it more suggestive. This is not to this is the only possible cause but that which need to be investigated and ruled out at all cost.
Other possible causes of
swollen lymph nodes include infections like
tuberculosis, repeat head and throat infections, drugs,
sarcoidosis, etc. In some cases not real causes are identified.
I will advise that you get examined by your primary care doctor and establish a plan to get this investigated and treated appropriately. If the diagnosis is not immediately evident, doing a
biopsy for tissue diagnosis would be a great idea. There is no emergency to rush to treatment without establishing the cause of this problem.
I hope you find this helpful and guiding enough. I wish you the best of possible outcomes. Feel free to ask for clarification and ore information if need be. I wish you well.
