Swollen lips can be due to various reasons:-
- trauma or lip bite
- allergic reactions
- viral infection like herpes

To rule out, match with etiology & treatment depends on causes
like lip bite subsides by itself, for allergic reaction you need to remove the allergen,
for viral infection you need to be given antiviral treatment.

For more than 2 months I have been suffering from hives .. food allergy
Last few days I have stopped all food items like tomota . Nuts .m milk and milk products that are major causes of hives
But only had pickle and then found lips swell

Pickle may also cause swollen lips as it is sour in taste & contain various chemicals as preservatives.Avoid it for 10 days & notice the changes.
