Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Rashes And Fatigue
Question: I'm okay I guess. I finally got to see a rheumatologist and he ordered another ANA test and some others. Still waiting for results.
Still have the swollen lymph nodes and rashes and am fatigued, but the doc said he didn't want to give me any medication yet. I just want to feel better. I can't see him again until November.
I don't know if the website auto generated that email, but it's nice to know somebody's thinking about me.
I just want these nodes to go down and want someone to prescribe me some plaquenil. I'm tired of having no treatment because I don't have an ironclad diagnosis.

Well, at least they ordered the tests for you. But what does he feel the diagnosis is??
I really dont understand how can they not follow up with your results for another 3 months. Or your GP is suppose to follow them?
1. When are the results expected??
2. DId he plan on getting a lymph node biopsy or FNAC done to look for what sort of nodes are they?
Well, yes at times one has to treat empirically if the problems are going on, cause Lab values are only supportive of what a clinical diagnosis is and not conclusive. The gold standard still remains clinical diagnosis.
Do update me on the results and the remaining queries.
