Brief Answer:
Check for infections advisable, if persists excision of lnode for pathology
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
swollen lymphnodes can be due to a lot of different infections. Blood testing for infections such as ebv and also if possible through sexual history hiv recommendable, also for toxoplasmosis, and general infection parameters, like sed rate and c-reactive protein and white blood count.
If nothing gets found, excision of a swollen lymphnode and pathological/ histological examination is usually the fastest way to find the cause.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
