Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Conjunctivitis
This may be possible Conjunctivitis
Detailed Answer:
The symptoms you are describing represent possible Infective Conjunctivitis. It is an infection wherein Bacteria and or Viruses inhabit and agitate the conjunctiva of the eye, causing the symptoms you are experiencing. I must ask, do you use contact lenses? If so have you had a period where you've had them out for a day or more at a time? If it is Bacterial or Viral Conjunctivitis, the symptoms while annoying; and potentially lasting 4-6 weeks or longer, are nevertheless ones that often eventually diminish, with of course proper eye hygiene (continued drop use and no contacts) and an assessment from a physician to ensure it is not the more serious and or vision threatening conditions. I will say I highly recommend a visit with a physician for one certain symptom "photophobia - otherwise known as disturbances with bright light" can be concerning for Gonococcal Conjunctivitis which will require Antibiotics. Otherwise antibiotics and or other medical therapes will not be recommended until a proper visit with a physician who can see your eye for himself and perform a physical. In the meantime continue to wash your eyes out, and cease any contact use. I hope and trust you will begin to feel alleviation of your symptoms soon. Please feel free to follow up with any questions. Warm Regards.
