Question: Hi I've had a constant throbbing pain on lower left side that feels as if someone is applying pressure for a few months and it's gotten worse lately resulting in nausea and literally feels that someone keeps kicking me in the side. Also now have small fever. A gastroenterologist diagnosed me with diverticulitis 6 months ago with no treatment plan. Is this part of that?

Brief Answer:
Looks to be due to Diverticulitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
To recapitulate: Male/47 - Gastroenterologist diagnosed you as a case of diverticulitis 6 months ago - constant throbbing pain - lower left side - pressure - nausea - feels that someone keeps kicking inside - fever too - bland food - dicyclomin...
The presentation that you have put in is seen in diverticulitis like pain in the left lower side and the character as you have explained well with fever.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor/s and get a Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen, colonoscopy if feasible and get an appropriate treatment with an antibiotic active against bacteria in intestinal tract and Metronidazole, probiotics and so on.
Also get tests of stool, blood and urine.
Clinical evaluation and examination by a General Surgeon.
all these will give you the correct diagnosis and a plan for proper management.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
