Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Fibromyalgia

Question: Fro the past 5-6 weeks my son has been experiencing a consistent sensation of feeling like he has taken pills or is high, and feeling a little tired. He is not depressed, and does not exhibit any outward signs, and is continuing as best as possible to work and fucntion socially. He has had extensive blood work that showed no signs of infection (including seeing an infectious disease specialist and a rheumatologist). He has had an mri done of the brain with no findings - He did have a fall about a year ago that required a spinal fusin, and his neurologist does not think this condition is related.

I have read your query
I would like to clarify first what you mean by "high"
I am assuming you mean he feels active and yet gets tired while working.
I think this is a disease called fibromyalgia.
This is often considered when the other systems are normal- and you have mentioned that the blood reports and neurological evaluation was normal.
I feel this is fibromyalgia, and therefore, I suggest you meet your primary care doctor for a prescription of pregabalin alone, and if not effective enough, a prescription of pregabalin with amitryptiline.
