Question: My husbands SpO2 with pulse oximeter has been at 84-86% asleep and awake for four days of monitoring with grossly swollen feet and ankles for a week. He is not in "distress", but I can hear the stress in his breathing. He does not want to go to the doctor. What can I tell him to convince him it is necessary?

Brief Answer:
You should tell him that all these symptoms are due to heart failure.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
All these symptoms are suggestive of heart and lung failure.
So you should tell him that if he doesn't start treatment his heart and lung will fail and ultimately he will die.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
