Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to low blood oxygen levels or low blood flow to the brain (including low blood pressure).

That is why, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a chest X ray and respiratory function tests
- a resting ECG
- an arterial blood gas analysis
- a Doppler ultrasound of the cervical arteries to examine for possible narrowing
- blood electrolytes
- complete blood count for anemia
- fasting glucose for hypo/hyperglycemia.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Meanwhile, I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values, frequently during the day and refer them to your doctor.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
