Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Spondylosis

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Oct 2016
Question: my right leg is numb or uncomfortable to sleep on, and then the pain goes into my lower back. I have woken up and then the pain goes into to my left knee, left 2 knuckles in the middle of left hand, and then to right shoulder and neck. it only moves or lasts a day or two where it subsides and moves. It is hard for me to exercise as some times I have a hard time picking up weight with arms, legs, and one side of my hip will start hurting after a short walk with pain.

Brief Answer:
Spondylosis seems to be the underlying cause.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. It seems that your problem is due to vertebral spondylosis. This leads to compression of the spinal nerves that leave from two sides of the vertebral column and this results in pain and discomfort in the areas supplied by those nerves. You need to get X ray of lumbosacral spine and cervical spine (AP and lateral) done and get yourself further evaluated by an orthopedician. You can upload the reports and I would try to guide you further but you would need to get demonstration of the appropriate exercises from a physical therapist. Hot compress would provide relief. Ultrasonotherapy will also help. Depending upon the severity your physical therapist will be able to suggest if you need vertebral traction.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
