Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Tachycardia
Question: hello doctor, I checked my heart rate on heart rate monitor in a app on my phone and it shows 102-109. Does that mean my heartbeat is faster and will it cause any harm? I checked for my wife and hers is within limit.
Brief Answer:
Accuracy cannot be confirmed...
Detailed Answer:
Well, heart rate above 100 is technically considered as tachycardia. However I wouldn't rely on an app measurement. I would rather suggest check pulse rate yourself while at rests. You may be able to find ways to check pulse from free video sharing sites.
Further more, all cases of tachycardia are not serious and concerning. Therefore don't be alarmed. Recheck pulse rate while you are calm and relaxed.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
